- While in the space, click the calendar icon located at the bottom right.
- After clicking, a view like the one above will appear. Click “Link With Google Calendar.” There is also an option to link with Outlook Calendar. You can choose as needed.
- After that, a tab will appear to select the Google account you want to integrate. Make sure the account you choose matches your Gather Town account.
- Gather Town will need additional access to your Google account. Check the access options, then click “Continue.” Before doing this, you can read the terms of service and privacy policy first.
- Once Google Calendar is connected to Gather Town, the calendar view will look like the image above. Click “Schedule a meeting” to start managing your schedule. You can choose the location where the meeting will take place. Select as needed, then click “Create in Google Calendar.”
- The Google Calendar tab will appear. Set up the event details and add the email addresses of the meeting participants, then click “Save.” Make sure the emails used match the Gather Town accounts to ensure they can join directly without needing to register first.
- Back in the Gather Town space, your calendar will display the agenda as set up previously, as shown in the image above. If it doesn’t appear right away, you can click refresh.
- At the notification time set earlier, an alarm will sound to inform you of the time and location of the meeting. Click ‘Take me there’ to go directly to the meeting location.
