It was the first time breakdancing was featured, showcasing incredible moves from talented dancers. Although the event has ended, it’s still exciting to talk about. In fact, it’s so exciting that even while working in Gather Town, I still often discuss the dance at the Paris 2024 Olympics with my team.
“Well, you don’t need to be at the Olympics to enjoy dancing, though. You can do it here,” said one of my friend. It’s true! In Gather Town, we can dance too. Now, I will show you various dance moves in Gather Town that are just as cool as breakdancing at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Normal Dance
When you use a standard human avatar to dance in Gather Town, your avatar’s arms and legs move back and forth. Consequently, the avatar will sway its hands and feet in a rhythmic pattern, creating a lively dance effect. Although it’s not as complex as the breakdancing at the Paris 2024 Olympics, it’s still fun.
Gingerbread Dance
Gingerbread Dance is a special move to the Gingerbread avatar. Your avatar will sway its entire body left and right. It’s similar to a dance move I once saw a breakdancer perform. Actually, when you look at it again, it looks more like a jellyfish moves than a gingerbread dance.
Ghost Dance
In Gather Town, dancing with a ghost avatar brings a spooky vibe. Your ghost avatar will make moves that look like it’s trying to scare people. Moreover, these movements might even be difficult to perform for breakdancers at the Paris 2024 Olympics, given that the ghost’s legs don’t touch the ground!
Wolf Dance
Your wolf avatar can really stand out with a cool dance move. The wolf stands tall, puffs out its chest, and lets out a howling roar. It’s a bold and dramatic move that adds a lot of personality to your virtual space.
Bunny Dance
From all the dance moves, this one might be the cutest in Gather Town. Your bunny avatar can do an adorable dance with a basket of eggs. The bunny tosses the eggs into the air and catches them while dancing. It’s a fun and cheerful move that adds a playful vibe to your virtual space.
