Hi there! We meet again with another new Virtual Space design portfolio post. We got a new client which is basically a non-formal school in Asia. They planned to make a non-formal school virtual space for their student, but they want to make it more like a village, a metaverse. Not too big but not small as well. They actually want to make their space on WorkAdventure, but here I will show the demo using Zep instead.
They basically want to make a big map with many areas for some occasion. The theme will be standart style but some yellow and light blue as the main color for the building. They want to make it compact, so it’s easy to go anywhere. Here I show you the floorplan and the result of the main area :
I make some adjustment to the main plaza from the floorplan because they want to make it more like a city center with food and seating area rather than a booth. They are many areas on this space, there are spawn area, jogging area, cave for future development, camping site, library, main 3-floor building, auditorium, and some single dormitory on the top left. There are some butterfly animation and fountain animation as well. If you go to the central plaza and the campsite, you will hear a background sound effect playing there. This is what I like most from Zep!

Main Usage : Large sized all-hand space
Areas : One space that divided into some areas. Which is spawn area, jogging area, cave for future development, camping site, library, main 3-floor building, auditorium, and some single dormitory.
Space Wide : 92×80 tiles for the overall map. Plus a smaller one for the 2-floor and 3-floor of the main building.
Map Style : Contemporary simple style with branded color.
Space Capacity : Can be for around 75-100 participants.
